The data on parasitic diseases of laboratory animals (mice, rats, guinea-pigs, rabbits, etc.) caused by ticks, mosquitoes, dermatophytes, Protozoa and helminths is reviewed. These data are concerned with myobiidic, myocoptic, notoedrotic scabies, trichophytosis complicated by scabies, tick-borne toxic dermatitis, nozematosis (encephalitozoonosis), toxoplasmosis, balantidiasis, pneumocystosis, hymenolipeasis, opistorchiasis, which may be natural analogs in the study of invasive human pathology in natural and experimental biological models.
