Peptide maps were prepared by high-voltage electrophoresis and chromatography for t 30.degree. C mutant and the original strain A Port Chalmers 1/73 H3N2 of influenza virus. Clear differences in the distribution and number of spots between the mutant and the original strain were found. The differences are due presumably to changes in the amino-acid sequences.
