This paper puts forward that HIV/AIDS is multifactorial and therefore the interventions to combat it should also be multi-pronged. However, any problem requires simplification, and given this, an important intervention to prevent/mitigate HIV/AIDS is nutritional intervention. Nutritional intervention alone does not suffice to control HIV/AIDS, but it could go a long way to alleviate the disease's spread and severity.
