The formation of antibodies to granulocytes was studied in children with neutropenia. It was found that cold granulocytotoxic antibodies are directed against the common determinant, specific for the granulocytic series, and they influence the number of neutrophils and reduce their phagocytic activity. The data obtained evidence that the detection of granulocytic antibodies may serve as a reliable marker of immune forms of neutropenias.
