Microbiological, immunological and pathomorphological studies of enterally and perorally infected by Proteus mirabilis have shown the proteus enteropathogenicity whose manifestations depended both on the strain properties (adhesiveness, stability of the antigens structure, etc.) and on the individual sensitivity of animals. A diagram is presented for the intestinal proteus infection pathogenesis the most important stages of which are the overcoming of the small intestine barrier by the proteus and dissemination of the agent into viscera with the most active implication of kidneys and lungs into the infectious process.
