The inspection of organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticide residues in the unpolished rice grain imported from South Korea between July to November, 1984 was performed by gas chromatography with ECD and FPD, respectively. From the results of the analyses of the total 35 rice grain samples tested in this inspection, pesticide residues of BHC, DDT, aldrin, dieldrin, endrin, diazinon, EPN, fenitrothion, fenthion, malathion, parathion, phenthoate and edifenphos were below detectable levels.
