A case study reports the measurement of vitamin C and E levels in the blood and breast milk of a 32 year-old, gravida two, lactating white woman with a 10-year history of megavitamin consumption. These vitamins were abnormally elevated in the subject's blood and milk, but the elevator was not directly proportional to the level of vitamin C and E ingested (40 and 99 times the RDA, respectively). The megavitamin intake data for the subject and recommended intakes for 23-50 year-old lactating women are presented and discussed. (wz)
