Effect of anaprilin and corinfar on tolerance to physical loading in patients with exertional angina pectoris

Examination included 50 patients with stable angina pectoris of effort of the II-IV functional classes (according to the classification accepted by the AII-Union Cardiology Research Centre, USSR Acad. Med. Sc.). The bicycle erogmetry test were carried out after separate administration of anaprilin (80 mg), corinfar (30 mg) and both drugs in combination (60 and 20 mg, respectively). They were found to possess considerable individual variability. Bicycle erogmetry performed during administration of a beta-blocker and calcium antagonist can be used as a simple diagnostic criterion for determining the prevalent pathogenic mechanism of angina pectoris of effort in each individual case to substantiate therapy.
