Ostertagia in Friesian cattle dairy heifers causing type 2 ostertagiasis, diarrhea, increased serum pepsinogen levels, depressed milk yields, and weight loss among clinical aspects, heifers calving in November-December were adversely affected while those calving in spring were not, anthelmintic treatment resulted in marked clinical improvement
