A case is reported in a 22-yr-old man who developed paraplegia from vertebral osteomyelitis due to Aspergillus fumigatus. Therapy with amphotericin B (total dose 2040 mg over 10 weeks) and rifampin (900 mg/day) was successful and the patient regained motor function.
