This study presented the effect of intrarenal infusion of angiotensin II (AII) on renal hemodynamics with acute alterations of renal artery blood pressure in the anesthetized dogs. The animals were pretreated with either vehicle, indomethain (8 mg/kg), or captopril (5 mg+6 .mu.g/kg per min). RBF synthesis at low RAP modulates the role of renin-angiotensin system on RBF and GFR autoregulation.
