In 2 patients with severe left ventricular dysfunction who received aortocoronary bypass surgery, left ventricular function and coronary sinus blood flow were evaluated, both at rest and during exercise, preoperatively and postoperatively. The 1st case was a 70 yr old man who had left main trunk lesion and triple vessel disease. The 2nd case was a 53 yr old man who had triple vessel disease. Aortocoronary bypass surgeries were performed in these 2 cases. There was no change in left ventricular ejection fraction after operation in either case. However, percent increase of left ventricular minute work and coronary sinus blood flow with exercise were significantly improved after operation.
