The effect of the orientation reaction and other factors caused by the 1st test on changes in most frequently determined hemodynamic parameters was studied in 15-35-yr old humans in the active orthostatic test and tests with gradually increasing veloergometric load. Possible shifts in hemodynamic parameters caused by a reduction in the orientation reaction and adaptation to laboratory conditions, but not by the effect of therapeutic and other factors, should be considered when studying the circulatory system and its response to load tests.
