Effect of the larval density of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes on their mortality as affected by Bacillus thuringiensis Berl. preparations

In the laboratory experiments on the action of bactoculicid and R-153-78 in concentrations of 0.01, 0.05 and 0.10 mg/l on the 2nd stage of A. aegypti larvae, a dependence of the effectiveness of the preparation on the larval density was discovered. At the same concentration of the preparation, the increase in the larval density resulted in the diminution of the proportion of specimens killed.
