Diffuse carcinomatosis of the spine and neurocranium

A case of a 72 yr old female patient with generalized carcinoma of the gallbladder is presented. The tumorous spread with extensive involvement of the spine and of neurocranium is very unusual. Despite severe compression of the brain the patient did not suffer either from headaches or from any other neurological symptoms. A central hemiparesis appeared only 14 days before the death of the patient.
