The resistance of mice vaccinated with Glaxo-BCG to Y. enterocolitica infection was evaluated. Decreased mortality was observed when mice were vaccinated i.p. and revaccinated i.p. with BCG 14 days after original immunization. Mice vaccinated with a single dose of BCG s.c. were not protected against Y. enterocolitica.
