1. 20 children, aged between 12 and 14, took thallium sulphate in form of Celio, some of them considerable quantities of the substance. 2. Five children showed a complete epilation of the scalp. 3. Nearly all the children suffered from arthralgiα-myalgiα-neuralgia. 4. Even three months after all the pains had vanished, some signs of irritation of 11w peripheral nervous system could be demonstrated. 5. In addition there were typical changes of the skin and the nails. 6. The changes caused in the other organs (stomach, intestine, liver, kidneys, eyes) are of a transitory nature. 7. Four of the children suffered from minor degrees of depression. 8. Loss of weight up to 6 kg. was registered. 9. After 4 months there were no signs of any damage left.
