The immune complex (influenza virus antigen + antibody + complement) was tested for its effect on mobility of splenocytes and pneumocytes of normal mice and mice infected with a sublethal dose of ifluenza virus. Cells from normal mice incubated for 1 h with the complex or with antigen alone showed the highest migration inhibition. Migration of cells from infected mice was inhibited by the complex and by its components. Pneumocytes were inhibited to the highest extent by the antigen and the complex. Incomplete complex of antigen + antibody showed the weakest inhibitory effect on both types of cells from both animal groups.
