The serum neutralization test (SNT) and ELISA technique were performed on 769 pig serum samples. Pathognomonic titre for the SNT was considered 1:4 and for ELISA 1:40. The results gave almost total agreement between the two methods. In two samples positive to SNT and negative to ELISA the titres were on the border line of sensitivity of both tests.
