The pharmacokinetics of antrafenine values were 3 times higher in renal patients compared with normal volunteers (data corrected for equivalent doses). Elimination half-lives were comparable in the 2 groups. Evidently there is an increased biovailability of antrafenine in patients with chronic renal failure, which justifies a reduction of the usual daily dose by .apprx. 1/3.
