Solid culture media was shown to be suitable for detecting the antagonistic properties of Leptospira. Methods of studying the antagonistic properties of Leptospira and the antagonistic relations of 74 strains belonging to 64 serological variants of 6 serogroups were presented. The joint cultivation of Leptospira strains belonging to the same serovar or to different serovars of 1 serogroup under industrial conditions was evidently impossible.
