A single dose of 200 mg mebendazole in children (2-10 yr) has given a cure rate of 100% and 92.85% in cases of Ascaris and Trichuris, respectively, with no adverse reaction and with excellent acceptability. This single dose schedule is superior to other dose schedules and recommended for routine and mass treatment.
