The influence of a urea pretreatment upon the curative effect of ointment preparations was examined in patients suffering from eczema and psoriasis. Dexamethasone, 5-fluorouracil, dithranole and flumethasone pivalate were applied as active agents. A significant therapy improving effect became apparent in the examination group by urea pretreatment in preparations with dexamethasone and dithranole.
