Decaris was included into a complex of therapeutic measures applied to 64 patients with rheumatoid arthritis for correcting the immunopathologic shifts. The therapeutic effect of decaris was manifested by a significant improvement of the articular index, diminution of the number of inflamed joints and the disease activity, as measured by the scoring system and by improvement of immunological responses, the latter circumstance being particularly important. Of the patients, 21.87% developed side effects which require that the drug be administered with caution.
