Op-Site wound closures, a fenestrated adhesive wound closure aid, were used in 21 cases undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Application of Op-Site was easier and less time-consuming after meticulous closure of subcutaneous tissue. Patients complained of less pain. No infection or wound dehiscence was observed, minor overlap healed spontaneously and the final scar showed excellent cosmetic appearance compared to the suture technique.
