Toxoplasmosis in hospitalized Ethiopians with lymphadenopathy

Sera from 61 patients in 2 hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with cervical lymphadenopathy and from 39 controls without lymphadenopathy were tested for toxoplasmosis by the IHA test. 5 patients in the first group gave positive reactions at titres of 1:64 (2 cases) and 1:128 (3). No positive reactions at titres greater than 1:8 were given by the controls. The case histories of 3 of the positive reactors are noted.
