A modification of the methods by Vasilkova and Gefter (1948), Romanenko (1968) and Gudzhabidze (1969) which simplifies examination and requires less time is suggested. With this new method, specimens of soil, sand, bottom deposits, sewage sediments or silt of purification plants may be examined. [Ascarid nematodes are mentioned.].
