Short- and long-term clinical results obtained following the employment of a surgical technique used for gastric resection, and described in two previous notes, are presented. Nutritional syndromes were not observed and body weight increased. These findings, coupled with the blood serum data and the fact that patients fully resumed their work, are compared with the less satisfactory results obtained with the techniques of Balfour and Reichel-Polya.
