Effects of lindan, Karbatox on embryonal development of A. domesticus were investigated. Results show that Lindan and Karbatox are very toxic to the eggs and, depending on the applied concentration, cause either death of larvae or severe malformations often leading to death. Gesagard and Miedzian did not often cause reversible changes in growth rate of insects and are considered non-toxic.
