Four cases of primary cancer of the oviduct are presented. These cases were detected during 21 yr among 64,448 women. The diagnostic difficulties prior to laparotomy in the localization of the tumor are discussed. It is obligatory to perform full diagnostic procedures in suspected cases with full microscopic verification of the suspected neoplastic growth including, when necessary, exploratory laparotomy. Intraoperative dissection of the excised oviducts and intraoperative microscopical examination of the dissected tumors are discussed.
