New species of the entomopathogenic fungi of the Oosporavvalroth genus

During a study of mycoses in harmful insects a new species of fungus O. sajanica was discovered on the body of Phragmatobia fuliginosa L. which was found in Shuluty in the Eastern Sayan mountains of the Buryat ASSR [USSR]. The fungus is most closely related to O. otophila Harz. and is pathogenic for many harmful insects, Vanessa io L. and Dioryctria abietella Schiff. A description of the fungus is provided.
