Two cases of nocardiosis in imported blue-winged royal budgerigars are reported. Pathological findings included dry necrosis in lungs and fibrous aerosacculitis. The isolated organism produced a fatal disease within a few days when injected intravenously into rabbits or fowl, but intraperitoneal injection of a pure culture into guinea pigs and budgerigars had no effect.
