The plasma and urinary hormone profiles during treatment with human gonadotrophins

This study presents 6 cases of sterility that had anovulation or distrubances of ovulation treated by HMG obtained during the induction of ovulation show that the cycles in induced ovulation are not physiological in character. On comparison of the plasma profiles with the urinary profiles a significant delay is shown in the urinary estrogen profile as compared with the plasma one and somewhat explains the results.
