Sixty strains of P. aeruginosa isolated from patients with chronic nonspcific lung diseases and oncological diseases were described. Pigment-formation of the microorganisms, certain pathogenic properties and antibiotic sensitivity are studied in comparison. Possible dependence of P. aeruginosa pigment-formation on conditions of its existence is discussed.
