Clinical effects of 5-fluorouracil or chromomycin-A3 alone, 5-fluorouracil + chromomycin-A3, and the above 2 drugs plus prednisolone on human gastrointestinal and other solid tumors was evaluated. The response rate to the 3 drug regimen was significantly higher than that to other regimens.
