patient with metastatic cholangiocarcinoma to the liver, axillary lymph glands and subcutaneous tissue was treated with combination chemotherapy. The treatment consisted of weekly 5- fluorouracil and 5 days course of methotrexate and prednisolone repeated every 3 weeks (FAP Protocol). Partial response was obtained within 1 course of therapy and sustained for over 80 days. The patient still survives over 231 days from the initiation of treatment. The unusual response in this patient suggests that further study with this type of combination chemotherapy is indicated.
