Administration of 500 ml boiled milk to 13 patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and to 8 control patients resulted in no significant difference in mean concn. of blood glucose or serum insulin. It is concluded that if milk does play a role in the etiology of MS, it is not because of an abnormal secretion of insulin.
