A description of culture methods suitable for the production of killed Akabane virus vaccine. Infectivity and haemagglutinating antigenicity of the culture fluid were greatest at 3-4 days but then decreased rapidly. CF antigenicity and immunogenicity, on the other hand, reached a peak at 5 days after inoculation and did not subsequently decline.
