An open-type chamber is described which permits microcultivation of bacteria in the changing medium. Such an investigation is exemplified by the vital cycle of Bacillus cereus 8035. Germination of the spores in complete nutrient medium with its subsequent replacement by the metabolic products causes a completion of cell development according to the microcycle type (spore .fwdarw. vegetative cell .fwdarw. spore).
