Numerous round spores 4-6 mu diam., considered to be identical with Histoplasma capsulatum, were seen in a fibrocaseous lesion which was found in the left lower lung at autopsy of a 24-yr-old woman who had died of disseminated intravascular clotting following a normal delivery.
