Properties of the unattached decay products of thoron/Rn are important in assessing inhalation hazards of Th and U processing areas. Measurements of Rn/thoron decay products diffusion coefficients were made in an atmosphere where relative humidities varied from 5 to 90%. The diffusion coefficient varied by nearly one order during the variation of ventilation rates. For a given ventilation rate, variation of concentration of Th did not have a significant effect on the diffusion coefficient. The variation of relative humidity also did not have a significant effect on the diffusion coefficient.
