Phytobacteriomycin (an antibiotic of the streptothricin series) exerted a toxic effect on mollusks, first intermediate hosts of Opisthorchis, free-swimming cercaria, batches of mollusks, various species of aquatic invertebrate animals and fry of carp fish. A long-term toxic effect of phytobacteriomycin adsorbed with silica gel was demonstrated.
