When calculating conidium formation intensity in fungi, agar blocks are used corresponding to the circle or to the radius of the colony growing in the Petri dish. The method permits relating the age changes to sporulation intensity. [Species studied were F. avenaceum, F. semitectum, F. gibbosum, F. macroceras, F. lateritium, F. sambucinum, F. moniliforme, F. solani and F. javanicum.].
