The effect of 5-10 min physical exercises, performed in a sitting position, on motion sickness was studied in 18-20 yr old men in the Soviet Army. Target shooting at the end of the trip was used to test the function of the kinesthetic analyzer. The exercises had a positive effect on coordination, the kinesthetic and vestibular analyzers, cardiovascular function and on motion sickness. A 30% increase in shooting accuracy was noted in comparison with control.
