1. Plasma antithrombin was determined in 18 hospitalized patients under active, uninterrupted buccal Varidase treatment for periods varying from 1 to 34 weeks. 2. Following the first few days of buccal Varidase medication the plasma antithrombin activity rose. The range of antithrombin elevation was from 10 to 31 per cent.
