Total irradiation of young rats (3-4 mo.) in doses of 600-700 R resulted in weakness and inertness of the inhibitory process, in a more difficult formation of positive conditioned reflexes after a change in the signal value of the conditioned stimuli, in development of translimit inhibition directly after irradiation and in appearance of pathological lability (explosiveness) of the excitatory process. Dynamics of alteration of the signal value of stimuli was of 3 phase character: adequacy of the conditioned-reflex responses to the former values of the conditioned stimuli; relaxation in inhibition of the former differentiation and formation of a new one and adequacy of the conditioned-reflex responses to the new value of stimuli. In the irradiated rats, these phases were longer than in the control ones; the higher the irradiation dose the longer the duration of the phase.
