Based on data from dogs, cats, healthy humans, and heart patients, the effects of various antiarrhythmics are discussed individually and in combination, on impulse conduction in the heart. Topographic-pharmacological analysis using the His' bundle potentials has value both for the clinical approbation of new drugs and for the development of the most effective treatment for cardiac arrhythmias.
