The chymotrypsin, trypsin and cholinesterase content of hydatid fluid in hydatid cysts was measured in the lungs and liver of 17 bovines. Other hydrolases investigated included acid and alkaline phosphatase, leucine arylamidase, RNase, and DNase I and II. The new data with minimal and maximal values, indicate that the presence of chymotrypsin, trypsin and cholinesterase is not constant and varies quantitatively. Cholinesterase occurs in notable quantities; chymotrypsin and trypsin occur in insignificant amounts or not at all.
