A retrospective study was carried out of histological sections in the collections of the Inst. Pasteur, Paris and the Inst. Pasteur, Dakar. The material had been collected from many parts of the world. The fungi or actinomycetes found in lumph nodes included Actinomadura pelletierie, A. madurae, Madurella mycetomi, Aspergillus flavus, Blastomyces dermatitidis, Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, Histoplasma capsulatum, H. duboisii, Glenospora [Loboa] loboi, cryptococcus neoformans and Coccidioides immitis. The lesions, which were very polymorphic, are described.
