In an open trial, 75 patients were treated with a 1% econazole cream. Cure was achieved in tinea pedis in 91%, in tinea cruris in 100% and in tinea corporis in 92%. The remainder greatly improved. Cure of 22 patients with erythrasma was achieved within 3 weeks.
